Goddess Festival 2009

Welcome to the annual Fellowship of Isis equinox goddess festival in Chicago. Everyone from everywhere is welcome to attend! This year's main ritual and theme will be The Throne of Destiny. . Its main deity is Juno. This ritual is about sovereignty, justice, and divine law.  It offers further preparation for entering the coming age. The following parts in the main ritual are available for qualified FOI membrs who want to participate: Hierophant 1, Hierophant 2,  Priest 1, Priest 2, Priest 3, Priestess 1, Priestess 2, Priestess 3, Practitioner, Apprectice, Presenter, Politician, Journalist, Mme. President, Queen Thetis. Please choose a part you want, and also feel free to nominate someone you feel would be terrific in one of the parts. About The Annual Equinox Goddess Festival
	The annual Equinox Goddess Festival, which co-incides with the season of the ancient Eleusinian Mysteries,  is our annual gift to Chicago...and to FOI members everywhere.  This year's Goddess Festival takes place on Saturday, September 26, 2008.  It is preceded by a reception in honor of Lady Olivia Robertson on Friday, and followed by related activities on Sunday.  The Festival

	We encourage our FOI members and friends to actively participate in The Goddess Festival by doing a presentation related to the theme.  It is a pleasure getting to know more about our wise and talented membership in this way, and it makes the day very special and exciting for all in attendance. What To Do While In Chicago
	It has not yet been determined whether there will be an official field trip this year.  However, it is possible to enjoy a visit on your own to such attractions as  The Oriental Institute Museum of the University of Chicago, The Field Museum and its Egyptian exhibit "Inside Ancient Egypt;" The Art Institute and its ancient culture collection ,  Millennium Park , and The Baha'i Temple .
