My 1956 Chevy is equipped with a 235 cubic inch 140 horsepower "stovebolt" 6 cylinder engine and a 3 speed manual transmission. The large radiator is in excellent condition. The car runs cool in hot weather and any traffic condition.

The underside of the hood is as nice and clean as the topside. Everything on the car is immaculate.

The car still has the original oil bath air cleaner, generator, and other major components.

This original numbers matching engine has never been apart. It runs strong and doesn't miss a beat. The car is driven a few hundred miles a year or less. Oil is always changed and the car is greased every year before storage even if driven only a few hundred miles. Gas stablilizer is added to keep the gas fresh and the tires are inflated to 40 pounds for winter storage. The engine is "fogged" to coat all internal engine parts with a film of oil before storage.

This is the trunk mat that came with the car. It has not been replaced. It is in good condition except that it has tear in it.

The spare tire wheel well is not rusted. The original jack is with the car. I have installed a reproduction jacking sheet in the correct location because the original was in very poor condition.

I pulled up the trunk mat to show that there is absolutely no rust on the trunk floor.
