 A 400 cubic inch Turbo Fire V-8 delivers great performance and the economy that you'd expect from this classic car. The small block 400 cubic inch is a great motor! It has four bolt mains and bigger valves. I've been told that this is the only year the 400 small block had these items. My father-in-law had a 400 small block engine in his 1972 Caprice, and he drove it over 250,000 miles with no engine work. WOW! That's what convinced me to buy this car years ago. |

 The car has been meticulously maintained. The oil and filter has always been changed every 2,000 miles or less. I never drive the car 2,000 miles a year any more and change the oil before winter storage no matter how few miles I have driven. This car has been babied. I always fill the oil filter before installing it on the car and grease it every time I change oil. |
