A 400 cubic inch Turbo Fire V-8 delivers great performance and the economy that you'd expect from this classic car. The small block 400 cubic inch is a great motor! It has four bolt mains and bigger valves. I've been told that this is the only year the 400 small block had these items. My father-in-law had a 400 small block engine in his 1972 Caprice, and he drove it over 250,000 miles with no engine work. WOW! That's what convinced me to buy this car years ago.

Look how nice the power brake booster is. It still retains its nice original finish.

The car has been meticulously maintained. The oil and filter has always been changed every 2,000 miles or less. I never drive the car 2,000 miles a year any more and change the oil before winter storage no matter how few miles I have driven. This car has been babied. I always fill the oil filter before installing it on the car and grease it every time I change oil.

The air conditioning works fine and blows cold. It still uses the old R-12. Notice the original heater hoses and clamps.

The original vehicle emission control sticker is not a reproduction.

The trunk is totally original and rust fee with the original truck mat that I keep covered with a piece of carpet.

This jacking instruction sheet is not a reproduction. The original jack remains in the trunk.

This engine starting instruction sheet is still found on the driver's side sunvisor.
